A Heartfelt Thank You: Celebrating Our Incredible Volunteers 

This past weekend, our Volunteer Appreciation Event was more than just a gathering — it was a living, breathing testament to the kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication of our My Wish for My Community family.

To every volunteer who attended, and to those who were with us in spirit, we extend our deepest gratitude. You have shown that service is not just an act, but a way of life. Each smile shared, each hand extended, and each moment of your time given has planted seeds of hope and kindness in our neighborhoods.

We celebrated YOU — the heart of our mission — and we were reminded that real change begins with ordinary people choosing to do extraordinary things.

Go Aryan ! Chief Student Wish Ambassador !Amazing work ! Great leadership! Thank you for offering your monthly time to the volunteers and community as the little hands develop into more skilled volunteers and leaders !

Go ⁨Kavish ! For tirelessly serving as Social Media manager throughout the year  and helping  with sett up for the meeting,  wrap up and clean up !

Go ⁨Suhana ,  for working so hard on the slides and bringing light to the work done and the actual impact on various missions ! Over 5000 hours cmx $38 per volunteer hour , do the math !! That’s the impact of the volunteer work done only in 2024 !

Go ⁩ Jasmine ! for helping with set up, presentation and setting up bracelet sale table at the event ! If you haven’t had a chance to look at her handmade pretty bracelets, please ask her at school and help her raise funds for the Lighthouse for Hope Project , (helping children with cancer)

But the work is far from done. Our communities still need champions, dreamers, and doers. And that’s exactly who you are. Let’s carry this energy forward — to mentor a child, to comfort a neighbor, to feed a family, to stand up for what’s right.
